First Coast Women's Services
​First Coast Women’s Services is a pregnancy care center that operates under the guidelines of Care Net International which provides compassionate hope and help to women and men who are facing fear and indecision in a time of real crisis.
Providing women and men, facing unplanned pregnancies. Free services include  pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, evidence-based abortion education, peer counseling, community referrals and consults, material assistance and Bibles. There is also a mobile pregnancy center.

​In addition to financial support, they need:
     Baby Items
     New or Gently Used Baby Clothes
     Maternity clothing

​ALBRIE'S STORY
"My motivation to keep going"

School recently started back, and the many college campuses in our area are bustling with activity and excited students with dreams in their eyes. The Monday before Albrie walked into First Coast Women’s Services, she had just returned to college classes. She was one of those eager students, but the knowledge that she was pregnant had replaced most of her excitement, and the fear of disappointing her mom added to her indecision about her pregnancy. Albrie’s mom had been a teen mom and warned her not to follow in her footsteps. Albrie, in her twenties, knew she was in a better place than her mom had been, but she still feared the impact that becoming a mother would have on her schooling and aspirations. She looked for resources outside of her friends and family for advice and assistance. Providentially, Albrie found First Coast Women’s Services, a compassionate, life-affirming organization whose client advocates honestly discussed all her options with her and what the impact of each decision could be. Ultimately, Albrie made a decision for life! She was able to continue school without taking any breaks at all and even said, “I am making great grades. I never skipped a beat as far as school goes….my baby has been my motivation to keep on going.” The continued support from FCWS was also meaningful for her. “Earn While You Learn gave me a lot of confidence as a mom because it made me feel like I wasn’t doing it by myself.”
