Rector Matt Kirk
|
Matt started at Christ Church in November 2017. He's joined by his wife Rachel and their 8 children (yes, 8.) In his free time he enjoys watching his kids play baseball, softball, drums, and sing in chorus as well as time spent cheering on the Reds, Spurs, Cowboys (but he is embracing the Jaguars also), and watching rugby (Scotland's team!)
His desire is to daily live out Philippians 1:20, "My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed, but with all courage, Christ will be highly honored in my body." His goal is that, through Christ Church, each person will regularly experience life transforming moments with the Lord Jesus Christ. |

Trinity Wirth, Kidzone Director
|
Trinity Wirth is a college student studying education, and she brings her passion for teaching and learning into her role as Children’s Ministry Director. Balancing her academic studies with her ministry responsibilities, Trinity is constantly deepening her understanding of how children grow, learn, and develop in both educational and spiritual contexts. Her college experience has equipped her with the tools to create an engaging, inclusive, and faith-centered environment for children, where they can grow closer to God while also learning valuable life skills.
For Trinity, ministry is all about embracing the heart of Jesus' words in Matthew 19:14: “Let the little children come to me.” She believes that every child should have a space where they feel safe to approach Christ, knowing they are loved and valued just as they are. Trinity’s passion as Children’s Ministry Director is to create an environment where kids can experience God’s love in real, tangible ways—where they are welcomed, heard, and drawn closer to Jesus in everything they do. More than anything, Trinity desires to reflect Christ’s love—to be a steady, joyful presence in the lives of children, and to help them discover just how much they matter to God. |
