Giving Of Ourselves
God wants to get the job done. The job of bringing His Kingdom to this earth. He doesn't want us hiding behind our weaknesses, circumstances, or past, excluding ourselves from this awesome adventure. Instead, God wants to use ALL those things that we've gone through to empower us AND empower others to allow His Kingdom to come.
The same God who created the heavens and the earth can take every moment and act we offer to Him to make a difference in His work. Too many times we ask for all the circumstances to be perfect, to feel like it, or the act to be easy but those are excuses. God simply needs us to make ourselves available.
Let God Use You
You may hear of a need, quietly, in their voice or maybe in a Facebook post or have someone on your mind for awhile. You may hunger to change something, do SOMETHING to help make a difference. It truly isn’t complicated to cook a meal, send a note, or perhaps take time to visit.
What are the excuses you hear inside your head?
Lack of time?
Little energy?
Not gifted in that way?
Money?
Not good enough?
Truth is, God is looking for us to put down our excuses and be the hands or feet of Jesus. God will provide in everything He calls us to, without exception. God will make a way if we are willing to trust Him.
God isn't looking for perfect people. He is looking to use the once lost, to reach the now lost. He is looking for the willing heart to breathe life into a hurting world. He is wanting to give the gift of hope where His loved children are hopeless. He will equip and sustain us for the journey. Are you ready?
